URBAN exists to be an access point for people to discover Jesus Christ, realize their dream and begin to live in it.

URBAN's existence is taken from Philippians 3:12-14, interpreted into three distinct thoughts:

Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that 1.  I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but 2. one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind me and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 3. I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Discover – URBAN is an access point for people to discover Jesus Christ. We will be an access point in four specific ways: personal evangelism, community outreaches, community groups and celebration services.

Realize – As people discover Jesus and the plan that He has for them they will also realize the dream and potential God has placed inside of them. URBAN believes that people will only realize the dream as they draw closer to God. The Bible states that as we delight ourselves in Him, He will give us the desires of our heart. We will ensure this atmosphere through Bible-centered, simple, practical, fun and upbeat services.

Obtain – Once people realize their potential, it is URBAN's desire to help them obtain their dream. We will help them obtain their dream through a life giving and creative environment in which their gifts and dreams can be  used to build the kingdom of God and the local church.
