Welcome to URBAN!

Urban is much more than just a place on a map or location in San Diego, it is a vibrant community of people who love God and His word. Whether it is one of our celebration services at Birney Elementary in one of our community groups located all the way from Chula Vista up to Tierra Santa; we want to be an access point. We want to be an access point for you to connect to God on a deeper level, connect to the church by releasing your gifts and talents in ministry and connect to community by building healthy, strong relationships that encourage you and challenge you.

We believe that the church community is a place of refuge and safety as well as an agent to bring cultural change through sound Biblical teaching that will equip you to live out a radical life of faith. We believe that the church is a place of healing both physically and emotionally. It is a place where you can come and find love, hope and peace. It is a place that will get you pointed in the right direction to living a life of holiness that is pleasing to God so that you may lay hold of that for which He has laid hold of you.
